INFO ABOUT OHTO & THE GREAT EDC INK REFILL
OHTO was founded in 1929 in Japan, and has a long history of producing high quality inks for pens. The OHTO Needle Tip - R-4C7NP utilizes what they call i-FIT technology and SOFT INK, which is an oil-based modified low-viscosity version of conventional oil-based ink.
Features:
● Steady, smooth and clear writing
● Gives deep/rich black shade (black ink)
● Smoother feel than typical ballpoint pens
OHTO NEEDLE TIP
The OHTO Needle Tip design in comparison with a standard cone type, excels in writing fine characters or on carbonized copy papers, very clearly. It is also very good for drawing a straight line when using it with a ruler.
In spite of the needle like thinner in shape, the OHTO needle tips are as strong as cone tip, because they are machined from a single block of metal.
Conventional needle tips are made of two parts (pipe and holder). Therefore, the needle bends if even a slight physical force is applied.
NEW i-FIT TECHNOLOGY
Features of i-FIT:
● Progressed soft ink combined with newly designed architecture of the needle tip produces controlled silky smooth writing.
● Darker color shade - Black color of OHTO's soft ink is comparatively darker than competitors. Available in both black and blue ink.
● New architecture needle tip machined from a solid block of metal.
These refills utilize the OHTO i-FIT technology that combines the OHTO newly developed soft ink and the new architecture of the needle tip.
The "i" stands for ink/shape of needle and "FIT" stands for superior writing quality; i-FIT is what they call their new revolution in writing history.
